Listening Party began in the early 2000s as a personal, reactionary journal, and an attempt to capture my thoughts and feelings, track by track, for every album I happened to buy or download (usually through old LimeWire). I’d listen, take notes, and write out full album reviews, one song at a time. This is a continuation of that practice:
